I can't even get mad at Rick Santorum anymore. Like, he's been so offensive that I literally can't get mad at him. Seriously, in this whole conservative turn with the craziness of the Republican candidates and the Personhood and that ridiculous girl who decided to make a video about how her "safety" was at risk because the Girl Scouts of USA were allowing transgendered girls into their ranks, he completely brightens my day.

It is astounding to me that, not once in my institutional education (that is to say, school and sex-ed.health classes) has an authority figure defined rape as being motivated by power, rather than sex.
